HelmsBriscoe books more than 2.7m room nights per year (2005) through over 800 Associates working in 33 countries on behalf of over 8,000 clients. We are the largest customer of most of the international hotel chains. This gives us real purchasing power.
Rate tracking:
We are able to record room rates to ensure that you get the best available rates.
Team work:
You can work with your chosen Associate. The Associate also works as part of a team. Over 800 Associates are constantly communicating and sharing their expertise, knowledge and experiences. If you have heard about a venue we’ve almost certainly got an Associate who has experience of it. If you want to organize an event in a particular city we probably have someone there already.
Evaluating options:
When you make a request to us we will use our extensive database of properties and, if necessary, consult local Associates before approaching hotels. We will quickly return to you with a list of costed available alternatives that meet your criteria.
Personal relationships:
You can continue to maintain your relationships with hotels, and your contract will be with them not us (though assistance in contract negotiation is part of our service). We can be as visible or invisible as you want.
Attrition:
If you need to cancel an event, we are able to circulate our Associates in an attempt to resell the space (we will hopefully have negotiated to minimize cancellation penalties).
